Marietta, Georgia · Est. 2004
IITA teaches in-demand certificate programs in health records, project management, clinical research, databases and renewable energy — in small classes, with an admissions process designed to say yes.
About IITA
The International Institute of Technology & Applications opened in Marietta in 2004 with a simple premise: technology training should lead directly to work. The campus runs fully wireless, class sizes stay small, and coursework leans on real IT tools rather than lecture alone. Students have come from the UK, Latin America, Africa and Australia to study alongside the local Georgia workforce.
Staff and faculty take part in ongoing reviews against national and regional standards, so the programs keep pace with what employers in health records, project management and IT actually ask for.
To operate as a development institute — a place that treats education as a practical tool for solving real problems, not only a repository of knowledge.
To prepare leaders with the skills to solve development challenges, and the technical grounding to build solutions their communities can use.
